This is the most beautiful painting! I feel lucky and blessed that I came across it! My husband and I honeymooned in Mo’orea and we had taken many pictures in front of this church. To find that Greg Collins painted it was such a joy! We will treasure it forever!

I was super-pleased with my photo print purchase! Like many people, I’m sure, when making online purchases there’s always just a little voice of skepticism in the back of my mind. I knew I liked the image, but had to roll the dice that it would look good in person, the frame would be adequate, etc. I must say it exceeded even my hopeful expectations! First of all, the packing was stellar. The photo print did look great in person, and the framing was WAY better than I was expecting! It was ready to go with a sturdy hanging wire already in place. Unfortunately it was a gift, so I don’t have a photo of it on my wall! I did, however, open and inspect it before wrapping it and re-shipping (in the same stellar packing!). I would easily recommend FineArtAmerica and will happily shop with them again in the future…worry free!

The panoramic view across the rooftops of the historic Alfama area of Lisbon from the Miradouro das Portas do Sol is picture postcard perfect. Multi coloured pastel buildings topped with vibrant red rooftops jostle for space as far as the eye can see. The mannerist style Monastery of Sao Vicente de Fora sits atop the hill, a jewel in the crown of this most dazzling district. As the sun disappears behind the buildings, a warm red glow is cast, giving the entire scene an ethereal quality. I blended textures with my original photograph in black and white to compliment the vintage feel of this old world Lisbon scene.
